I switched over from plain ol’ comments to Disqus.
Why? The standard comment system didn’t import all of the Blogspot comments. Everyone who reads this blog knows that half of the fun is reading the comments. Readers here are smart. The other benefit is that we can thread comments, so you can reply to someone directly.
Solution?Disqus trapped all the Blogger comments, so they’re not lost.
Known issues

  • Login. If you’re having trouble making an account with your e-mail on Disqus, try your Twitter or Facebook id just above the comment box.
  • Missing comments. I’m still trying to link the Blogspot comments with their posts.
  • What? InternetExplorer doesn’t like Disqus? I just found this out. Not happy. I use Firefox, so I had no idea logging into Disqus or commenting as a guest was not working. I’ll contact those people and find out what’s going on!
Weird 404 errors
If you’re seeing these, please let me know how you came across my 404 page. E-mail Ice Mom

Missing post images.
Yep. You’re not seeing the images in some cases because of the way my new templates work. I’ll move the images, but it’s going to take some time. I’ve got to figure out the bigger issues first!

RSS Feed

  • If you’re not seeing your old RSS Feed from Ice Mom’s Adventures in Figure Skating, please subscribe to the new feed.
  • If you’re trying to click on the link that reads RSS Feedburner in my sidebar and it just comes back to the front page, try clicking on the tiny RSS symbol instead. I’m working on this, too.
